Meet Jude.
The eye behind Modency.
Jude brings bridal experience, textile knowledge, and a calm one-on-one approach to every fitting. House of Modency is where that technical background becomes something more personal.
Technical enough to be exact.
Personal enough to feel easy.
Jude studied Textile and Apparel Management at the University of Missouri and has worked in bridal since 2016. Over time, she developed a point of view that now defines House of Modency: alterations should respect the original gown, modest design should feel integrated, and the bride should always understand what is changing and why.
The studio is intentionally private and appointment-based. That gives each fitting room to focus on proportion, comfort, movement, coverage, and the details that make the finished gown feel completely yours.
“The best alteration is the one that feels like it was always part of the dress.”
Preserve what made you choose the gown. Refine what keeps it from feeling fully yours.
